Kingston Willingham put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 18 points. Makhi Miller was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Even though Mill Springs Academy has not done well against Cottage recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Mill Springs Academy skirted past Cottage 36-33. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Mill Springs Academy has scored all season.
Tapestry Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Mill Springs Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
Everything went Tapestry Charter's way against Mill Springs Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as Tapestry Charter made off with a 63-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tapestry Charter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
