Everything came up roses for Parkway North against Clayton on Saturday as the squad secured a 42-7 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Parkway North.
The Parkway North offense pulled no punches in the first half and blazed their way to 35 points. Meanwhile, Clayton couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 35-0 heading into the break. The Parkway North defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the match.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Parkway North will take on Miller Career Academy at home at 7:00 PM next week. Those two teams have set a high bar for this matchup after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests. Clayton will be staying on the road, facing off against Affton. Neither Clayton nor Affton could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
