It's playoff time, and East Bay had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the East Lake Eagles with a sharp 27-6 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

East Bay didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Victoria Whitfield.

The win (which was East Bay's 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.8 points over those games. As for East Lake, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-5.

Looking ahead, East Bay will challenge Seminole Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. East Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
