Baseball Recap: East Noble Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

East Noble strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins with a sharp 10-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 on Saturday.

Parker Kerr made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ian Ramey was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Strick, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

East Noble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Wayne Northrop only posted an OBP of .333.

East Noble's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, East Noble will host Fort Wayne Snider at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they will venture away from home to challenge Leo at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight.
