Basketball Recap: Hillsboro's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hillsboro waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 63-41 margin over the Kennedale Wildcats. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Charlee Mack had a dynamite game for Hillsboro, going 9 for 15 on her way to 24 points along with six steals and five assists. What's more, Mack also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Callie Tucker, who went 5 of 7 en route to 13 points and six assists.

Hillsboro smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Kennedale, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-14.
