Baseball Recap: Tree of Life Christian Has No Trouble Against Liberty Christian Academy

Tree of Life Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Liberty Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Eagles on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Trojans have posted against the Eagles since April 15, 2021.

Christian Hodges was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Meshach Bishara was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Tree of Life Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .214.

Tree of Life Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tree of Life Christian will take on Granville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Granville Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Tree of Life Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
