Brookhaven managed a 65-59 victory over the Eagles on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jaylen Haliburton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with five assists and five steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kordell Collins, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Brookhaven is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Florence, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
