The Mays Raiders had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 68-48 margin over Central.
Mays' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chloe Evans led the charge by scoring 23 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Riley , who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Mays' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
