There's no place like home for Ansley/Litchfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won six in a row.

Ansley/Litchfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-11.

Kiera Bailey paced Ansley/Litchfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Bailey got some help from Caydence Feldman and her 20 assists. Ava Paitz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Arcadia/Loup City still got an impressive performance from Amie Rose, who had 13 digs and one assist. Rylee Kursave also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Ansley/Litchfield's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Ansley/Litchfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Grand Island Lutheran on the 18th. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sandhills Valley on the 20th.
