On Friday Pleasanton will take on Yates Center at 7:00 PM. Pleasanton have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Yates Center are surely hoping to exploit.
Pleasanton came into their this week averaging 32.67 points per game, but Pleasanton fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They took a serious blow against St. Mary's-Colgan last Friday, falling 0-46. Pleasanton's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Yates Center took an ego-bruising defeat against St. Mary's-Colgan two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Yates Center won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Uniontown 7-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for Yates Center as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Yates Center's victory lifted them to 2-5 while Pleasanton's defeat dropped them down to 6-1. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
