After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty Preparatory Christian, the Grace Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Queen's Grant 47-24. With Grace Academy ahead 34-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Grace Academy was led to victory by Austin Miller and Julianna Simonelli. Miller scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Simonelli scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalista Pressley, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.

After both having extra time off, Queen's Grant and Sugar Creek will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
