The Dover Eagles will welcome the West York Area Bulldogs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Dover is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
 Last Friday, Dover didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Kennard-Dale, but they still walked away with a  29-25 victory.
  Malik Dickens had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in August.
 Dover didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Eli Smyser and  Jalen Fitchett. Fitchett also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with 13.
 Meanwhile, West York Area didn't have too much trouble with Susquehannock at home   on Friday as they won  28-14.
 West York Area found their leader in underclassman  Jensen Ferber, who threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes. 94 of those passing yards were hauled in by Julius Madden, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Dover's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for West York Area, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
 Everything came up roses for Dover against West York Area when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, as the  team secured  a  63-34 win. Does  Dover have another victory up their sleeve, or will West York Area turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
