Fort Myers is a perfect 5-0 against Immokalee since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Green Wave will look to defend their home field against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Fort Myers is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Fort Myers will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Naples on Tuesday. The Green Wave were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Golden Eagles. The Green Wave haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fort Myers has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .460. However, it's not like Immokalee struggles in that department as they've averaged .482. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Fort Myers beat Immokalee 8-3 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will the Green Wave repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
