Softball Recap: Walkertown Has No Trouble Against Salisbury

Walkertown's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Salisbury Hornets 18-1. The result was nothing new for the Wolfpack, who have now won nine contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Walkertown got a massive performance out of Taylor Isley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most hits Isley has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Miller, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Walkertown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.

Walkertown's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Salisbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

As of now, neither Walkertown nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
