Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenville). They walked away with a 60-52 victory over the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City still got an impressive performance from Macee Rodman, who went 9 of 21 on her way to 28 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. That was a full 53.8% of Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lena Bowlin, who put up ten points.

Greenville's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Greenville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-26 defeat against Pinckneyville on the 27th.
