Glenville extended their postseason success on Saturday against Warrensville Heights. They walked away with a 50-40 win over the Warrensville Heights Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Tarblooders sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glenville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Vickerstaff, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahi Hobson Jr, who posted 11 points and three steals.
Glenville's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Warrensville Heights, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-6.
Looking ahead, Glenville will challenge Hawken at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Glenville will be up against Hawken's rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.23 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
