Owen is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Rosman is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warhorses will welcome the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Owen knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Rosman likes a good challenge.
Owen's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They blew past Avery County 13-0. The result was nothing new for the Warhorses, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Elly Wright was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophie Neal, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Mia Roland was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Owen hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Rosman unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Madison by a score of 8-7.
Savannah Green made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Blaikley Zuccala, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
Owen has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Rosman, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Rosman's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Owen has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .478. It's a different story for Rosman, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain Owen's hitters?
Everything went Owen's way against Rosman in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Owen made off with a 17-6 win. Will the Warhorses repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
