Willamina had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers as they made off with an 18-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Willamina's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Blanchet Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Willamina will challenge Yamhill-Carlton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Blanchet Catholic, they will take on Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
