Washougal has been on the road for two straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Ridgefield Spudders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Washougal will be strutting in after a victory while Ridgefield will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Hudson's Bay scored an imposing 61 points on Monday, Washougal still came out on top. Washougal managed a 65-61 win over Hudson's Bay. 65 seems to be a good number for Washougal as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washougal to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Darling, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Darling scored 15 or more points. Alex Frost was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Ridgefield had to settle for a 52-50 loss against Hockinson on Monday. Ridgefield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The victory got Washougal back to even at 3-3. As for Ridgefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Washougal came up short against Ridgefield in their previous matchup back in January, falling 60-54. Can Washougal avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
