Carroll Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Lee Academy in .
Carroll Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Benton Academy 38-0. Carroll Academy was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Lee Academy took care of business in their home opener. They strolled past Potts Camp with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 21-6.
