After losing to San Gabriel Academy the last time they met, Fairmont Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fairmont Prep Huskies were the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over the San Gabriel Academy Eagles on Thursday. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Fairmont Prep has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for San Gabriel Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Fairmont Prep will challenge Pacifica Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pacifica Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, Fairmont Prep a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for San Gabriel Academy, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the San Gabriel Academy Eagles duke it out with the King/Drew Golden Eagles at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
