The Osceola Indians's game on Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Warsaw out 61-58. Given Osceola's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Warsaw is ranked 215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Siebert, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Siebert's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Logan Gemes, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Warsaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Osceola will be playing at home against Stockton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warsaw, they will head out on the road to face off against Hermitage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
