York Country Day stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Christian School of York at home to the tune of 67-20. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-10.
York Country Day found their leader in underclassman Ryan Maus, who went 7 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 40 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maus has scored all season. Isaiah White was another key contributor, almost dropping a triple-double on ten points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists.
The win makes it two in a row for York Country Day and bumps their season record up to 14-3. As for Christian School of York, their loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Veritas Academy the next time they take the court. York Country Day will head out to face the Monarch at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
