The Strom Thurmond Rebels posted their biggest victory since November 14, 2023 on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 41-14 win over Columbia at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Strom Thurmond.
Katlyn Chinn continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinley French, who scored nine points.
Strom Thurmond now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Columbia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Strom Thurmond will head out on the road to challenge Pelion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia, they will be playing at home against Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Orangeburg-Wilkinson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Columbia in South Carolina (Orangeburg-Wilkinson is ranked 55th, while Columbia is ranked 271st).
