Van Nuys put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They breezed past the Grant Lancers to the tune of 34-0. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Van Nuys' victory came down to the chemistry between ISABELLA ESPINOZA and her top target ALESSANDRA SABILLON. ESPINOZA rushed for 87 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries while SABILLON gained 142 total yards and two touchdowns. SABILLON's longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.

Van Nuys' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Van Nuys and Grant will both be playing Immaculate Heart the next time they take the field. The Wolves will host the Pandas at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
