The Fellowship Christian Paladins can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 56-23 win over Whitefield Academy. Given Fellowship Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the WolfPack are ranked 515th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fellowship Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ally Hardin, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine assists. Hardin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Ella Upchurch was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Fellowship Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Whitefield Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Fellowship Christian and the Panthers will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Whitefield Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
