Meridian is 8-2 against Warrensburg-Latham since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Despite their loss, Meridian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Sebastian Hill, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Hill hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Paul Ralston, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Warrensburg-Latham lost to Tuscola at home by a decisive 61-45 margin on Tuesday. Warrensburg-Latham has not had much luck with Tuscola recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meridian's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for Warrensburg-Latham, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.
