Meanwhile,  it may have taken  nine innings to finish the job, but South Point ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Symmes Valley  3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Pointers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 South Point's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Brayden Hanshaw, who  went 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI. Hanshaw is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
 Gallia Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11-1 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for South Point, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
