The Berrien Rebels pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-57 to Atkinson County. Berrien was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Atkinson County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atkinson County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ja'Kari Northcutt, who scored 22 points. Kamari Moore was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Berrien now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Atkinson County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berrien will take on Lanier County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Atkinson County will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Jeff Davis at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Jeff Davis comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
