Charlotte and the Bulldogs are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Charlotte Trojans will head out on the road to take on the La Pryor Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Charlotte and 32 for the Bulldogs dating back to last season.
Last Tuesday, Charlotte was beaten by the Yellowjackets 69-37.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for La Pryor, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 44-29 loss to the Tigers on Friday.
Charlotte dropped their record down to 5-24 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for La Pryor, their loss dropped their record down to 0-18.
Everything came up roses for Charlotte against the Bulldogs in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 65-32 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charlotte since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
