After each having a week off, the Dacula Falcons and the Valdosta Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Dacula took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 28-15 win over Central Gwinnett.

Garrison G Cantrell produced another solid effort rushing for 49 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 103 yards on nine of 15 attempts. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
On Friday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the field. Valdosta came out on top against Lowndes by a score of 23-14. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three games in a row.
Dacula better keep an eye on Tyrieke Wade. He was instrumental in Valdosta's win, throwing for 201 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 56 yards. Wade is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Valdosta's defense and their four sacks. Zamarian Williams refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. He was another major factor on D, picking up 1.5 sacks and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
The win got Dacula back to even at 5-5. As for Valdosta, their record is now 9-1.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Dacula has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 185.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Valdosta struggles in that department as they've been averaging 259.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Dacula against Valdosta when the teams last played back in November of 2018, as the team secured a 55-21 victory. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
