Freeport extended their winning streak to seven on Monday, bumping their season record up to 11-5 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Southmoreland Scotties a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Southmoreland, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Southmoreland's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grey Moyer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Freeport didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 loss against Burrell on the 7th. Southmoreland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
