The Habersham School Patriots won the last time they faced Trinity Christian, and things went their way on Friday too. The Habersham School simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Trinity Christian 68-26 at home. The squad ran away with 57 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
The Habersham School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hamilton Colley, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Colley has scored at least 25% of The Habersham School's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Rowland, who scored 16 points.
Trinity Christian's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Garrett Suggs, who scored 10 points. Suggs continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Isaac Cleveland was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
The win makes it two in a row for The Habersham School and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Trinity Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Habersham School will take on Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Alleluia Community at 7:30 p.m.
