Watersprings lost against the Sho-Ban Chiefs last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Watersprings fell to the Chiefs 36-30. Watersprings has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Watersprings lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaitlyn Syverson, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Libby Grijalva, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Watersprings dropped their record down to 7-15 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.8 points per game. As for Sho-Ban, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.
Watersprings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sho-Ban also has no future games currently scheduled.
