Ada is on a three-game streak of home losses, Seminole a 14-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Ada Cougars will take on the Seminole Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Ada struggled with assists on Tuesday (Tuttle had eight more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Ada was outmatched by Tuttle on the road and fell 64-27. While losing is never fun, Ada can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Tuttle is ranked 25th).
Despite the loss, Ada saw an underclassman step up: Ava Campos scored eight points.
Ada struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Seminole suffered a rough 56-32 loss at the hands of Prague last Tuesday.
Ada's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Seminole, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.
Ada took their win against Seminole in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 53-32. Does Ada have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seminole turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
