After losing to Lake Forest Academy the last time they met, Latin decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Romans came out on top against the Caxys by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Latin easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15.

Latin's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Lake Forest Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Latin will challenge Lincoln Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Forest Academy, they will take on Libertyville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Caxys surely won't give up without a fight.
