Republic have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Tekoa-Rosalia at Chewelah TR Home Team at 7:00 PM. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
Republic took care of business in their home opener. They took the game and then some with a 48-0 victory two weeks ago over Waterville/Mansfield.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Entiat in their previous match, Tekoa-Rosalia were happy to find some success last week. Tekoa-Rosalia were fully in charge, breezing past Northport 70-6. With Tekoa-Rosalia ahead 50-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Tekoa-Rosalia to 1-1 and Republic to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
