Great Bend has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Dodge City Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Friday, Great Bend came up short against the Redskins and fell 52-44.
Meanwhile, Dodge City lost to the Indians at home by a decisive 48-29 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, Dodge City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Indians are ranked 67th).
Great Bend has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. As for Dodge City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Great Bend came up short against the Demons in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 43-32. Can Great Bend avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
