St. Dominic waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.

Anthony Flamm Jr. was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Montgomery, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-5.

St. Dominic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.

St. Dominic's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Dominic will head out to square off against Howell Central at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they will square off against North Point at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
