The Sebastian River Sharks will face off against the Rockledge Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Sebastian River sitting on three straight wins and Rockledge on seven.
Sebastian River's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Treasure Coast. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won four matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Kiera Carow, who gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Treasure Coast off the board. With that strong performance, Carow is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
At the plate, Rily Biggers was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Whitney Villars, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
Biggers wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Sebastian River kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Rockledge narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Space Coast 4-2.
Haley Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.
On the hitting side, Kaylah Comeau and Gizelle Arteaga did most of the damage at the plate: Comeau went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Arteaga scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Haylie Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Rockledge pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sebastian River, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sebastian River hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .425. However, it's not like Rockledge struggles in that department as they've averaged .344. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
