Softball Recap: Kee Triumphs

Kee took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Crestwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Kee Hawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cadets 5-4. The game was the first time the Kee Hawks have beaten the Cadets on their field since June 6, 2017.

Kee's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Crestwood, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Kee has already played their next game, an 8-5 win against New Hampton on the 6th. As for Crestwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Osage on the 6th.
