 In other batting news,  Carmelina Esquiviez was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with five  RBI and two  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Aaliyah Ruiz was another key player,  scoring four  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Alisal was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They are  a perfect 7-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Alisal's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-3. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for North Monterey County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
