The Family Christian Warriors lost against the Brazosport Christian Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Family Christian was beaten by Brazosport Christian 63-18. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Family Christian in their matchups with Brazosport Christian: they've now lost five in a row.
Julianna Crews continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Brazosport Christian, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crews has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Mendoza, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Family Christian bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brazosport Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Family Christian will take on Living Stones Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brazosport Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Baytown Christian on Thursday. Baytown Christian and Brazosport Christian are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
