There's no place like home for Coventry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bolton Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Matteo Albano, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Coventry is undefeated when Albano posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Dominic Deangelis was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Coventry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .560. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Coventry is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Bolton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Coventry will take on Tolland at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. Bolton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
