Baseball Recap: Porter Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Porter waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Savanna Bulldogs 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Kaden Stockton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Stockton was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and two stolen bases. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season.

In other batting news, Porter got a massive performance out of Bradley Spotts, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Carson Bindrum was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Porter's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Savanna, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Porter will welcome Weleetka at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savanna, they will head out on the road to challenge Wilburton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
