For Tiverton's part, Liliana Luis was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave Luis a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Tiverton got a massive performance out of Sadie Pickering, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Pickering a new career-high. Sara Poland was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
