Meanwhile, even though Cristo Rey scored an imposing 70 points on Monday, Steward still came out on top. Steward took their contest against Cristo Rey 77-70.
Hampton Roads Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Steward, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Hampton Roads Academy ended up a good deal behind Steward when the teams last played back in January of 2023, losing 66-47.
