Parrish Community has gone 7-1 against Palmetto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bulls will welcome the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Parrish Community will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Parrish Community and Sarasota have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Bulls won by a run and slipped past the Sailors 6-5.

Emmaline Van Beck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kyndal France, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alysa Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Parrish Community hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sarasota struck out nine times.
Meanwhile, Palmetto earned a 4-1 win over Northeast on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.
Palmetto also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: MaKenna Lee gave up a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 16 Ks.
On the hitting side, Palmetto saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalen Capps, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Parrish Community's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Palmetto, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Parrish Community has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Palmetto struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Parrish Community couldn't quite get it done against Palmetto in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-3. Can the Bulls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
