Vista Ridge is 0-1 against Manor since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Vista Ridge Rangers will head out on the road to face off against the Manor Mustangs at 7:00 p.m.
Vista Ridge fell victim to Stony Point's stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. It was the first time this season that Vista Ridge let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Manor didn't have too much trouble with Cedar Ridge on the road on Friday as they won 37-23.
Titus Petteway was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Alijah Prosser got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Manor's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Damien Godley and his two sacks.
Manor's victory bumped their season record to 4-3 while Vista Ridge's defeat dropped theirs to 5-2.
Things could have been worse for Vista Ridge, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 21-7 loss to Manor in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Vista Ridge, Quinten Joyner (who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
