Westminster Academy had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cardinal Newman Crusaders a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

The win got Westminster Academy back to even at 10-10. As for Cardinal Newman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Westminster Academy will head out to square off against West Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardinal Newman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jupiter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
